About US
Both graduates of Georgia Tech, Erika & Halton have been living in the Austin, Texas area for the past decade and sold a successful wedding venue business prior to launching Grand Welcome Pagosa Springs.
Spearheading operations, Erika has extensive experience in real estate and property management, as well as an interior design background - a passion for all things home. Erika’s managed large apartment complexes, commercial properties and residential long & short-term rentals over the past 12+ years.
Halton’s professional background is in geotechnical engineering and management, leading a large department. Erika & Halton have also taken on several renovation projects together.

About Me
Chas is Erika’s dad! Originally from Pittsburgh, Chas has 42 years experience in print and design management. Running his own company for the past 20 years, his background includes marketing, sales, project management, vendor relations and customer service. Chas does not let a detail be overlooked and is highly organized. He’s a logistics wizard and excellent communicator, and has been managing STRs here in Pagosa. With his skillset and ownership mentality, you want Chas to be managing your vacation home - your asset.

This is a great place to stay. It's so convenient to Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek and it is in a very nice neighborhood. Nothing but good things to say about the amenities and support that the property owners (Erika & Halton) provided.
What a beautiful place! First thing worth mentioning is the cleanliness. It had everything we needed and was perfect for two couples (would be great for a family with kids as well). Location is a bit out of town, but it’s what we wanted as it felt very private. View of the mountains out the front windows is absolutely stunning. Clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, great Wifi, nice kitchen with all the essentials. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed during Thanksgiving and from the moment we arrived the place felt like home. The location is perfect, it's peaceful and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed the home so much we didn't want to leave - instead we cooked and played board games and just relaxed. We've been going to Pagosa for the past 11 years and this is by far one of our most memorable trips. Also the owners (Erika & Halton) are attentive and literally thought of every detail to ensure your stay is welcoming and stress free - we are looking forward to staying there again.
Clean house and a beautiful home! Definitely recommend!
We traveled here as a family of four (a 3 and 6 year old in tow) and were greeted with a hand drawn sketch of the mountains on the chalkboard in the garage. Everything was well done-from our greeting and a personal check-in from the host (Chas), to the details of the house, including a full stock of hot cocoa in the pantry. Chas even went to the lengths of finding us some firewood for the fireplace. I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone looking. From someone who has used Airbnb for travel for many years, this experience stuck out as an especially wonderful one!

House was well stocked, rooms and beds were clean, kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms are clean, beautiful neighborhood. The property manager (Chas) was spot on, super helpful, very courteous. Owners (Erika & Halton) are super nice. We were there in the winter, but the summer is probably beautiful with the lake in the middle of the neighborhood.
We loved this house! The view was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. We found the house to be clean, comfortable, and just like home. Ten out of ten!
